In communion with the Bishop of St. Petersburg, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy is a new, independent Catholic classical school in Tampa, Florida. St. Thomas Aquinas Academy provides a place for children to grow their relationship with God.
We provide an educational community where your child will learn to know what is true, do what is good, and love what is beautiful.
Whether language, arithmetic, science, history, music, literature, theology, or any other topic, Aquinas is committed to giving students the chance to learn from the timeless works of the greats in every field.
Daily Mass is at the heart of a vibrant sacramental life, including weekly Adoration and regular opportunities for confession. Throughout the curriculum, students encounter rich primary texts from the Catholic tradition, including Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, and the lives of the saints.
At Aquinas, students learn virtues that will become the building blocks for the rest of their lives. They study heroes and villains from the past and learn how to make good choices with their friends, teachers, and families.
Our Catholic Montessori and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd programs will provide our youngest students with an engaging, integrated, and hands-on opportunity to explore creation and develop a relationship with the Creator.
The Classical Education Program provides instruction in the traditional liberal arts designed to equip students with mastery of language, arithmetic, science, history, Latin, music, fine arts, literature and theology.
Our goal at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy is simple: to prepare our students to live courageous lives of character rooted in their relationship with their Creator.
We believe that giving students a clear path towards virtuous living, an appreciation for beauty, and a healthy community to grow in gives them the tools they need to build a life that matters.
